About Karen Grunstra

I am thrilled to be joining Natalie and the team at Bicycle Realty Group! Having worked with Natalie on my own home purchase a few years ago, I can't think of a better colleague, neighbor and friend to work alongside.

After a successful decade-long career in international trade policy, I decided I wanted to refocus my talents a bit closer to home and invest in my community by helping my neighbors with the real estate needs. I joined Keller Williams Realty Company as a REALTOR in 2019 excited to build a new business.

In addition to biking all of the neighborhood trails, I am an avid gardener (the perfect complement to Natalie's self-proclaimed brown thumb!). As a gardener, I am dedicated to helping my clients put down roots in the Capital Area Region, just as I did myself ten years ago. The skills I developed as a lobbyist in downtown Washington benefit my real estate clients everyday. My tenacity, integrity, attention to detail and communication skills afford my clients top-notch service in this competitive real estate market and ensures them a great experience whether leasing, buying or selling property.

When I am not working for my clients, you'll find me outside in nature with my partner, Larry. We are usually hiking, biking, gardening or on a walk with our American Bulldog, Eggroll. For the last 4 years, I have also served as a volunteer mentor to a middle schooler with Casa Chirilagua in Alexandria, VA, an organization that I hold near and dear to my heart.
